Building Facebook Apps with Windows Azure

I had a great time presenting at NoVA Code Camp 2010. I always love to see what other developers are doing and spread my wings into new technology. Unfortunately, my speaking slot was during the second half of the US v England World Cup match. ESPN3 FTW!!!!

I presented on the Windows Azure Toolkit for Facebook. This is an application toolkit and template created by Thuzi and hosted on CodePlex. Their CTO Jim Zimmerman provided a great overview at Mix 2010. This presentation focused on the why and how of building and deploying to Facebook and Azure. In doing my background for this presentation, I really began to see Facebook as a development platform and as another tool for certain web applications.
