The new version of
SPDisposeCheck is out and works for SharePoint 2010. If you've never used this tool, it scans your .NET assemblies to ensure that any SharePoint objects you are using are properly disposed of and will not introduce memory leaks. If you haven't read it,
Roger Lamb's blog post about Dispose patterns is great.
In addition, the xml output option is working very nicely. This makes integrating this tool into your build environment very easy. I've created a
simple xsl file that you can use to transform the xml file into something ready to show on your build portal.

I had a great time presenting at
NoVA Code Camp 2010. I always love to see what other developers are doing and spread my wings into new technology. Unfortunately, my speaking slot was during the second half of the US v England World Cup match. ESPN3 FTW!!!!
I presented on the
Windows Azure Toolkit for Facebook. This is an application toolkit and template created by
Thuzi and hosted on CodePlex. Their CTO
Jim Zimmerman provided a
great overview at Mix 2010. This presentation focused on the why and how of building and deploying to Facebook and Azure. In doing my background for this presentation, I really began to see Facebook as a development platform and as another tool for certain web applications.
